Fieragricola in Verona is increasingly global. The International Agri-Business Show is the claim for the exhibition dedicated to the primary field. And edition number 110 of Fieragricola (www.fieragricola.it) keeps faith with expectations. Actually, re-launches them. For the benefit of all trade operators and to help increase the export vocation typical of Italian agriculture, from agricultural machinery to agro-food products, that alone generate a flow worth 124 billion euros.

There will also be more buyers: on the eve of Fieragricola 2012, 320 buyers are confirmed. A significant boost (+28%) compared to the previous edition in 2010. "VeronaFiere," said CEO & Director General, Giovanni Mantovani, "thanks to an effective network of international delegates operating all over the world, has managed to attract to Fieragricola - effectively the first international event dedicated to agriculture - a very high number of operators from areas around the world experiencing significant expansion, such as India and South East Asia, Latin America and Africa."
Moreover, Fieragricola will assist several groups of university students and international visitors during visits to local agricultural companies.
Zoosystem: the international pole. Animal farming also emphasises its vocation for internationalisation through one of the most representative events at Fieragricola. The ring at VeronaFiere (Hall 9) will see European comparisons involving Friesian cattle with the 11th edition of the "European Open Holstein Show".
And that's not all. As regards dairy farming, the VeronaFiere exhibition dedicated to the primary sector will host the Interbull World Workshop, with a focus on dairy cattle genomics. The project will involve a million head of cattle and 40 scientists all over the world, with the objective of creating an international network and database for the exchange of information and genetic improvement of animals, in order to ensure better safety in dairy output and better livestock longevity.
