Since 2007, Veronafiere’s Giovanni Colombo has also been the Secretary General of Eurasco.
Verona, 8th March 2019 – Veronafiere earns the Vice Presidency of Eurasco, the European Federation of Agricultural Exhibition and Show Organizers. Yet another important milestone for Veronafiere, which, since 2007, has also seen its own Giovanni Colombo as Eurasco’s Secretary General.
Luciano Rizzi, 49, Veronafiera’s Agriexpo & Technology exhibition manager, whose portfolio includes some of Verona’s historical shows, such as Fieragricola, Fieracavalli and Samoter, has been elected as Vice President of Eurasco.
Veronafiere has been organizing Fieragricolo since 1898, one of the most appealing and transversal international agricultural shows in Europe.
At the end of February, Sima in Paris saw the first official meeting of the new board, presided over by Anne Marie Quemener (Ceo of Space, the zootechnical exhibition held in Rennes, France).
Since 1972, Eurasco has been promoting European agricultural and agri-food shows to support growth in this primary sector and encourage dialogue between trade shows and relations with institutions.
The number of agricultural shows associated to Eurasco (www.eurasco.org) has now increased to 35 with the involvement of 23 countries from all over Europe.
