Job scouting'' for agricultural constructors and dealers: more than 200 CVs of young people uploaded
AGRILABOR AT FIERAGRICOLA CONVINCES YOUNG PEOPLE AND COMPANIES. SURPRISE: AGRO-ENGINEERING STILL OFFERS EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES
Over the next two years, more than five thousand potential new jobs will be available
Verona, February 2010. Meriam, born in 1980 in Tunisia, two degrees (Agro-Food Engineering and Animal Production Sciences); Giovanni, born in 1985 to a family of agriculturists, degree in Mechanical Engineering and a specialisation in thermo-fluid dynamics and liquid solar energy collectors.
They are just two of more than 200 CVs collected during the debut of "Agrilabor – Jobbing in agriculture". The first edition at VeronaFiere during Fieragricola (last 4-7 February), in short, was a huge success.
There was definitely a strong "surprise-effect". And it involved the most important constructors of agricultural machinery and numerous producers in attendance, as well as dealers. In any case, the need for the agro-engineering segment to seek new professional and specialised employees was already well-known:. And it was precisely in view of such requirements that the idea of setting up at Fieragricola – a unique approach in the panorama of shows dedicated to agriculture - a meeting point between supply and demand as regards employment came to the fore.
Inasmuch, with the collaboration of Tao (Tractor Agricultural Observatory), Fieragricola gave constructors and dealers of agricultural machinery and implements the chance to explain their requirements, needs, the state of the art and the future of the field. Not the least better to understand the various aspects of agro-engineering professions.
There is extremely high potential and the world of tractors is experiencing major evolution. This brings about very different requirements for new professionalism, from mechanical and electronic engineering (at times alongside the mechatronic version) to hydraulics and the environment. As well as mechanics, dealers, experts in spare parts and hire personnel.
A galaxy offering potential jobs for up to 3-4 thousand people over the next two years, where employees have nothing to envy - as regards the fascination and potential of engines - of the "cousin" automobile sector.
A great many CVs were uploaded and Fieragricola-VeronaFiere will now ensure contacts between demand (many young people) and supply in the employment field, represented precisely by a broad category all over Italy comprising constructors and dealers.
Within the scope of employment potential, dialogue was very fruitful between young people and the "Learn to be free" non-profit foundation under president Hon. Irene Pivetti, which especially focuses on helping young people and disadvantaged persons to find employment.
Fieragricola - next scheduled in Verona in 2012 (the VeronaFiere exhibition will in any case be a bridgehead towards Syria next October for the Damascus Agricultural Exhibition, as announced on the site www.fieragricola.com) - will focus again on employment in agro-engineering and trends in the field next 26-27 May (Palaexpo, VeronaFiere) during the Tao-Agridealer Forum.
