Fieragricola (4-7 February) - an increasingly multimedia event with the Learn to be Free Foundation
THE AGRILABOR AREA ALSO WELCOMES IRENE PIVETTI'S NON-PROFIT SOCIAL CHARITY WORK IN AGRICULTURE ALSO FOUND WITH WEB-TV.
The on demand theme channel (Webtobefree) of the foundation headed by the former Speaker of Parliament will be launched precisely in the area dedicated to agro-engineering professions.
Verona, February 2010. Fieragricola 2010 will increasingly be a multimedia event. Following the portal dedicated to exhibitors and news about agriculture (www.agricolturaonweb.info), by now boasting a community of more than 70 thousand users, and the possibility – from this edition number 109 – of tracking all events and appointments at Agripiazza in live streaming, Fieragricola has signed a partnership agreement with the Learn To Be Free Onlus Foundation headed by Hon. Irene Pivetti and becomes the theatre for the launch of Agrilabor, the theme channel dedicated to agriculture of web TV Webtobefree (Thursday 4 February, 14.30, Agrilabor area, Hall 2, E1-E4).
The channel is specifically promoted by the non-profit organisation founded by the former Speaker of Parliament, a reality seeking to create employment opportunities for people experiencing economic, social and cultural difficulties, with a special focus on women and immigrants. Immigrants are in the forefront of the primary production sector and represent more than 10% of the entire work force in agriculture: an "army" of 90 thousand workers, essentially employed in animal farming and seasonal harvests of fresh fruit and vegetables.
The Agrilabor Channel also targets small-medium companies in the agricultural sector as a major area for employment but also as important protagonists in the economic development of the country, especially in their more advanced forms open to technological development - an essential premise for competitive growth even on the international market.
What better stage to present the web TV for agriculture than Fieragricola that, with more than 120 thousand certified visitors, ranks among the top events in the primary sector all over Europe?
The Onlus To Be Free Learn (.ltbf.it), in particular, will be present in the innovative space of Agrilabor – The professions in agro-engineering: this is a meeting area between professional needs and aspirations, requirements and necessities, starting precisely from employment. In short, it is estimated that over the next two years about two thousand employees will be needed in the agriculture engineering segment alone.
Hon. Pivetti commented warmly and in any case announced that she will attend the inauguration of Fieragricola next 4 February and will speak about "Agriculture and employment: the web as a resource".
